Yellow Claw is a DJ duo from Amsterdam, Netherlands. The group consists of Jim Aasgier (Jim Taihuttu) and Nizzle (Nils Rondhuis). Their music is a mix of wide range of genres and often incorporates elements from trap music, hip hop, dubstep, hardstyle and moombahton.
Yellow Claw first gained popularity in the middle of 2010, after founding and hosting the Yellow Claw Thursday night party at one of Amsterdam’s most famous night clubs, the Jimmy Woo. During 2012 and 2013, they released a number of successful singles, which charted on the Dutch and Belgian national charts: “Krokobil”, “Nooit meer slapen”, “Thunder” and “Last Night Ever. The videos for the singles became viral, each gaining over four million views on YouTube. During that time, Yellow Claw performed at many Dutch festivals, such as DirtyDutch Festival, Sneakerz Festival, Latin Village Festival and Solar Festival.On March 7, 2013, they released their first international EP Amsterdam Trap Music. In June, they performed at Diplo and Friends on BBC Radio 1, and in July – at the 2013 Tomorrowland Festival.
On November 1, 2013, after signing to Spinnin’ Records, the group released their first international single “Shotgun”, featuring vocals from Dutch singer Rochelle. The single peaked at number 10 in the Netherlands and number 20 in Belgium. On November 8, 2013, Yellow Claw released a collaboration single with Flosstradamus, titled “Pillz”, under Fool’s Gold and Ultra Records. On 22 June 2016 Yellow Claw announced on their facebook page that MC Bizzey decided to leave the group. EDC Las Vegas 2016 was their last show as a trio.

不少線上 DJ 的歌單裡總是會出現他們的單曲，可想而知他們在國際上享有著極高的知名度。
自 2010 年出道，2013 年被 Diplo 的唱片公司 Mad Decent 簽下後，發行了首張 EP “Amsterdam Trap Music”，之後也開始發行幾首他們的代表作，像是與 The Opposites 合作的 “Thunder”，同年 9 月，他們發行了第二張EP “Amsterdam Twerk Music”。11 月時，他們分別在 Spinnin’ Records 發行了 “Shotgun”，及在 Ultra Music 發行了與 Flosstradamusc 合作的 “Pillz”。
到了 2014年，他們馬不停蹄的到處巡迴演出及發行作品。並在5月時成立了自己的音樂廠牌 “Barong Family“，找了同樣是荷蘭製作人的 Mightyfools 合作，發行 Barong Family 的首支單曲 “Lick Dat”。
然後在 2015 年發行了首張專輯 “Blood For Mercy” ，請出眾多藝人助陣，包括 Tyga、Becky G、Flux Pavillion、Ty Dolla $ign、Tiësto、Pusha T 及 Lil Eddie 等。
這張專輯讓 Yellow Claw 在 Bass Music 界的地位更加鞏固，同年也首次進榜 DJ Mag 百大DJ排行榜。
去年 2016，對 Yellow Claw 來說，應該是轉折最大的一年 6 月時，Yellow Claw 的靈魂人物 MC Bizzey 在 facebook 上以照顧家庭為由宣布退團在 EDC Las Vegas的演出是他們三個最後一場，讓許多粉絲都感到非常失望。MC Bizzey 的退出，雖然影響 Yellow Claw 不小，但他們依舊持續發表新作品與培養旗下 Barong Family 藝人。
